JAMES J. TENN
James J. Tenn, Jr. is a founding member of Tenn And Tenn, P.A. His practice includes personal injury, medical malpractice, domestic relations, and criminal defense matters in New Hampshire.
Jim is admitted to practice in all state and federal courts in New Hampshire and Massachusetts. He also is admitted in the United States Supreme Court.
Jim is an active member of the American Bar Association, as well as the New Hampshire and Manchester Bar Associations. Jim is a past President of the Manchester Bar Association. He also serves as a Govenor-At-Large to the New Hampshire Bar Association Board of Governors, the Vice-Chair of the New Hampshire Bar Association Pro Bono Policy Advisory Board, Board Member of the New Hampshire Bar Foundation, and Chair of the Foundation Development Committee.
Jim received his J.D. from the Catholic University of America, Columbus School of Law in 1991. He graduated from Boston College, summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science.
A life long resident of New Hampshire, Jim graduated from Manchester Central High School in 1984.
Among his many civic and charitable activities, Jim is the past Chairman of the Keyspan Youth Leadership Program. He serves on the Advisory Board of Manchester Community Television and is past Chairman of the Manchester Chamber of Commerce Leadership Alumni Association. In January, 2000, Jim was recognized by the New Hampshire Bar Foundation and was presented the prestigious Robert E. Kirby award for demonstrating the traits of civility, courtesy, perspective and excellent advocacy in the practice of law. In 2001, Jim was recognized by the Bar Association for distinguished pro bono service.
